Shark Week 2025

Ever since I was a kid, I dreamed of becoming a marine biologist. While that path didn’t unfold, my love for the ocean (and especially sharks) has never faded. I used to park myself in front of the Discovery Channel every year during Shark Week, completely captivated.


Now, as a teacher, I’m excited to share that passion with YOU and your kiddos! Starting tomorrow, I’ll be celebrating Shark Week with fun, bite-sized lessons designed for young learners. Each day, we’ll meet a new shark, bust a common shark myth, share a cool fact, and enjoy shark-themed crafts and activities—all for FREE!

Get ready to dive into a jaw-some week of shark-themed mini-lessons! Each day we’ll meet a different type of shark, bust a silly shark myth, and enjoy hands-on fun through crafts, games, stories, and more.

Every day during shark week we will:

  • Learn about a different type of shark.

  • Debunk a myth and discover the truth.

  • Learn a fun fact about sharks.

  • Various extension activities and games!

Perfect for curious minds and little ocean explorers—no swimming required! 😉
